Bio (in brief!)
After his journalism post-grad at the London College of Printing, Simon spent his early career freelancing as a music journalist dividing his time between London and Paris. His passion lay in visual story-telling so he settled in London to pursue a career in film and photography. Much of his focus has been on human rights, social issues, and the environment, working extensively on sensitive and challenging stories both in the UK and overseas. He has directed documentary series, long form obs docs, and hard-hitting current affairs and investigative films for the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, The Economist and the Guardian. He also works as a director/photographer for a range of commercial and voluntary sector clients.
